16 and Official

It's official, we earned our drivers licenses today and turned 16! Watch out! We were able to sneak by and use the waiver program to obtain our license, but that doesn't mean we didn't put in the work to earn it! 

 

Trick or Treat 2023

As always, the Sunday before Halloween is Trick-or-Treat here in Mequon, so Max took advantage of it and headed out with his good pal, Miles. He actually wore my old X-Wing Fighter Star Wars costume which worked out perfect because he could keep his jacket on underneath. Lily and I have officially given up on the trick-or-treating part, but that doesn't mean we won't sneak any of Max's candy!

 

HHS Dance Team - Fall Football Season

Another season is in the books! Our football team won the conference title this year so we had an exciting year supporting them. From our annual car wash, to the breast cancer walk, to finally toilet papering due to rain delays, to our pom, jazz, and hip hop routines - it was a memorable season!

Halloween Parties

Lily and Max had Halloween parties today. Max at school, and Lily at her studio. Max opted for his Chewbacca costume, and Lily put together a Women in Black (after Men in Black) costume. 

 

Homecoming 2023

After an unusually soggy week, the weather dried up enough for both of us to enjoy our Homecoming. 
 

Apple Picking 2021

We have resumed the tradition of apple picking with the Lard family after COVID put a kink in our plans last year. We were missing Kyra, but we had so much fun, and picked so many yummy apples!

First Day of 4K

This little man is so ready to start his new adventure at Ryan's and Lily's old school. He's been counting down the days, and what is even more exciting...he got Lily's favorite first grade teacher, Ms. Bongard. 

 

First Day of 8th Grade

 We are up and ready for the first day of 8th grade! Last year of middle school, and we're off to a good start because we are going to make the bus!

Maxwell's 5th Birthday

Birthdays are definitely s'more fun with friends and family! We proved this right by celebrating Maxwell turning 5 today! Family and friends came from near and far to celebrate the little dude, and at the last minute he surprised Mom with a Paw Patrol cake request...thank goodness for plain ice cream cakes!
